I'm having trouble hearing the ringtones on this site. What gives?
We use an embedded flash player to play the previews to make things easier. If you are unable to hear the sounds, then you probably need to download a recent version of Adobe Flash Player.
I have an iPhone, will these ringtones work on it?
Absolutely! When you add a ringtone to your cart you get the choice of an iPhone formatted ringtone or standard mp3.
How do I know if these ringtones will work with my phone?
Most of the more recent mobile phones support a feature commonly know as "Real Music" ringtones. This allows your phone to play prerecorded sounds (such as mp3's). To find out if your phone supports this feature, take a look into your phone's manual or contact your service provider's tech support department for compatibility information.
You may also try one of the many mobile phone database sites such as Phone Scoop or GSM Arena for details on your specific phone model. Please make sure your phone is "Real Music" or mp3 compatible before purchasing as we do not issue refunds or provide technical support.
My phone supports "Real Music" ringtones, but they aren't mp3's. What do I do?
Often times the format that is accepted actually is an mp3 or similar and will work simply by changing the file name extension. For example, if you downloaded "ringtone.mp3", you would simply rename the file to "ringtone.mmf" (".mmf" being an example file extension). If this is not the case, please look in your phone's manual or consult your mobile service provider for how to use mp3's as ringtones. How do I get the ringtones onto my phone?
iPhone Users:
If you've selected the iPhone formatted ringtone when purchasing, getting it onto your phone is really simple. Download the ringtone and open it in iTunes and it will show up in the ringtones category. Then just sync your iPhone!
Non-iPhone Users:
There are a number of ways you can transfer mp3 or "Real Music" ringtones to your phone. Transferring can be accomplished if your phone supports connecting or syncing to your computer either through USB, Bluetooth, or another wireless protocol. You may find it easier to send yourself an email with your ringtones as an attachment and then check your email on your phone and download the attachment. Please look in your phone's manual or call your service provider's tech support department for compatibility information. Please be sure you are able to transfer the ringtone onto your phone before purchasing as we do not issue refunds or provide technical support.
Does my carrier support your ringtones?
Your carrier has very little impact on the ability for you to use mp3's as ringtones. It is completely reliant on your phone's ability to play mp3 or "Real Music" ringtones.
